Nutty Olive Tapenade

Bring on the healthy fats and healthy protein with this delicious starter! Let your guests whet their appetites with this swanky but delicious dip. Serve it with a variety of vegetables to dip or your favorite gluten-free crackers. It’s perfect for a girl’s night in or any celebration you choose!


  • ½ c raw almonds

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 T capers

  • 2 T fresh parsley

  • ¼ t salt

  • Juice of l lemon

  • 1 cup of pitted black olives

  • 1 cup of pitted green olives

  • ¼ c olive oil


Chop almonds in the food processor until crumbled, not too fine. Add garlic, capers, parsley, salt and lemon and process with the almonds for about 30 seconds. Add olives and process, stopping a couple of times to scrape the sides, until mixture has a consistent texture. Slowly add in olive oil while processing on low for another minute. Store in a glass container.

TIP: This dip can be made 3-4 days ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
